A tower of green and white marble

The base of this lamp is four tapering blocks of natural marble – alternating deep green with pale veining and white – stacked with a slight offset, as if someone had built a tower from them. Every block has its own veining, so no two lamps are the same. It is a sculptural piece that dresses a console, sideboard or bedside table even when it is switched off.

Soft light and a brass detail

The oval beige shade in a linen-weave fabric turns the bulb into a warm, even glow with no glare – right for an evening with a book or as mood lighting in the living room. A brass stem between the stone and the shade gives the lamp a finished, quality look. Marble is heavy, so the lamp stands firmly, and the 150 cm cable has an inline switch so there is no reaching for the socket.
